Season: The shirt was used throughout both the 81/82 and 82/83 seasons. Leeds United competed by seasons in Division 2. The 81/82 season Leeds finished 20th under Allan Clarke's management. The following season saw the team led by Eddie Gray who guided the club to 9th.

 

Player/s: Most Likely to have been wore by Sheridan during his debut season as he was the main user of the No. 4 long sleeved shirt. He played 27 times that season (scoring twice) and would later become a popular player with the Elland Road faithful. He is number 26 in Leeds' 100 greatest players of all time.

Leeds Utd 1984-85 Match Worn WGK No.10 Shirt - Leeds Legend Peter Lorimer! Stunning!

 

 

Season: Leeds United finished 7th in Division 2.

 

Player/s: Peter Lorimer. This was the season Lorimer returned to Leeds United, aged 37, making 44 appearances and scoring 10 goals. He played under former team-mate Eddie Gray and broke the club's goal scoring record in the process, ending up with 238 goals from 676 appearances. He his Leeds' youngest ever first team debutant and his powerful shots on goal earned him the nicknames "Lash" and "Hotshot" from the fans. He is number 2 in Leeds' 100 greatest players of all time.

Season: Leeds United finished 14th in Division 2. Eddie Gray was sacked early into the season and Billy Bremner took over as manager.

 

Player/s: Ian Baird. This was his first season with the club where he made 39 appearances and scored 12 goals. His aggression, whole-hearted attitude, skill and goals made him immensely popular amongst the Leeds fans. Baird was made Leeds captain by manager Billy Bremner the following season. He is number 42 in Leeds' 100 greatest players of all time.

Season: Leeds United finished 14th in Division 2. Eddie Gray was sacked early into the season and Billy Bremner took over as manager.

 

Player/s: Used by many substitutes including Ian Baird and John Sheridan. Only one substitute was named in these days.

Leeds Utd 1986-88 Match Worn Burtons No.2 Shirt - Neil Aspin.

 

 Season: Blly Bremner was manager for both seasons. The 86/87 season ended in dramatic fashion as Leeds clinched a 4th place position and therefore qualified for the Play-offs. Leeds were only minutes away from promotion and Wembley but unfortunately were over-come by Charlton in extra-time. Unfortunately the following season was an anti-climax with Leeds finishing 7th after a poor start to the season.

 

Player/s: Neil Aspin was the main user of the short sleeved No.2 shirt during the 86/87 season. He was the second youngest ever debutante for the club, behind Peter Lorimer. He made 207 appearances (including 49 during the 86/87 season) at full back and scored 5 goals.

An iconic LUFC shirt. Clear signs of use as the shirt originally had flocked sponsor and numbers, as the season progressed the flock deteriorated with wear exposing the black flock adhesive underneath.

Season: Blly Bremner was manager for both seasons. The 86/87 season ended in dramatic fashion as Leeds clinched a 4th place position and therefore qualified for the Play-offs. Player/s: Ian Baird. Re-signed from Portsmouth for a cut-price fee, Baird was once again successful at Leeds picking up player of the year in 1989. He made 48 appearances in the 89/90 season, scoring 13 goals. He is number 42 in Leeds' 100 greatest players of all time.

Dubbed "Zico" by the fans because of his ability to score spectacular goals, his dynamic runs down the right and booming crosses brought many goals for Lee Chapman as Leeds romped to the First Division title. He is number 35 in Leeds' 100 greatest players of all time.
