Season: The 1998/99 built upon an excellent previous season and saw Leeds finish 5th in the Premiership. This again meant that Leeds would battle it out in Europe.

Player: Clyde Wijnhard. Clyde joined Leeds United in the summer of 1998 for a fee of £1.5 million. He was signed as a strike partner to fellow Dutch forward Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink, who had scored 22 goals for the club during the previous season. He scored his first goal for the club on 8 September in the club's 3–0 win over Southampton, but his game time was limited following the departure of manager George Graham, and he scored 4 goals in 25 matches across all competitions during the 1998–99 season. He later signed for Huddersfield town in the summer of 1999 bringing his short Leeds career to an end.

Other Details: Embroidered club badge, embossed manufacturers logo, embossed sponsor, felt player-size numbers/letters (European specification), short sleeves. An incredible rare shirt that was only used in the UEFA cup. This shirt differs from the shirts used in the FA Premiership as it does not have Puma logos down the side panels of the sleeves. Clyde made 4 appearances (all from the bench) in the UEFA cup wearing this shirt against Maritimo (home and away) and Roma (home and away).

Leeds United 1998-99 Match Worn Shirt

(Hasselbaink UEFA cup shirt. No puma logo down the sleeves, very rare!)

Season: The 1998/99 built upon an excellent previous season and saw Leeds finish 5th in the Premiership. This again meant that Leeds would battle it out in Europe.

Player: Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink. The Dutchman made a huge impact in front of goal during his 2 year spell at the club finishing as the top goal scorer in both the 97/98 season (38 appearances/24 goals) and 98/99 season. In total, Jimmy made 85 appearances for the club and scored 43 times - a strike ratio that is up there with the very best. He is number 27 in Leeds' 100 greatest players of all time.

Other Details: Embroidered club badge, embossed manufacturers logo, embossed sponsor, felt player-size numbers/letters (European specification), long sleeves. An incredible rare shirt that was only used in the UEFA cup. This shirt differs from the shirts used in the FA Premiership as it does not have Puma logos down the side panels of the sleeves. A SUPER rare shirt.

Leeds United 1999-00 Match Worn Shirt

(Danny Mills UEFA cup shirt! Signed by Danny)

Season: The 1999/00 season was a very successful campaign which saw Leeds finishing 3rd and earning the right to face Europe's elite again. In addition to qualifying for the UEFA Champions League, Leeds also managed to reach the semi-final of the UEFA cup before being eliminated by Galatasaray in tragic circumstances.

Player: Danny Mills. Danny was signed from Charlton to provide cover which restricted him to only making 20 appearances in his first season (99/00). However it wasn't long until Danny become a first team regular and important member of David O'Leary's team. A favourite with the LUFC faithful for his no-nonsense defending. He is number 51 in Leeds' 100 greatest players of all time.

Other Details: Embroidered club badge, embroidered manufacturers logo, embossed sponsor, felt player-size numbers/letters (European specification). An incredible rare shirt that was only used in the UEFA cup. This shirt differs from the shirts used in the FA Premiership as it does not feature the Packard Bell logo on the shirt. The shirt is also signed by Danny on the front and was given to a youth player at the club.

Leeds United 1999-00 Match Worn Shirt

(worn by Kewell in the UEFA cup run where we reached the semi-finals! Very different to premiership shirts)

Player: Harry Kewell. Snapped-up at an early age from the Australian Institute of Sport, Harry Kewell became an integral part of David O'Leary's babies. Harry had a great amount of pace and trickery and excellent footballing brain which made his enormous potential easily recognisable . Although not regarded as a LUFC fans favourite (due to his decision to later join Galatasaray), not even the hard-core of Leeds fan can deny his incredible talent whilst wearing the white shirt. Harry made a total of 181 appearances (scoring 45 goals) which included 53 appearances (17 goals) coming in the 99/00 season. Harry was voted Leeds' player of year in 2000. He is number 20 in Leeds' 100 greatest players of all time.

Other Details: Embroidered club badge, embroidered manufacturers logo, embossed sponsor, felt player-size numbers/letters (European specification), long sleeves. An incredible rare shirt that was only used in the UEFA cup. This shirt differs from the shirts used in the FA Premiership as it does not feature the Packard Bell logo on the shirt. The shirt is also signed by Harry on the back.

Leeds United 1999-00 Match Worn Shirt

(David Hopkin UEFA cup shirt V Galatasaray complete with black armband)

Season: The 1999/00 season was a very successful campaign which saw Leeds finishing 3rd and earning the right to face Europe's elite again. In addition to qualifying for the UEFA Champions League, Leeds also managed to reach the semi-final of the UEFA cup before being eliminated by Galatasaray in tragic circumstances.

Player: David Hopkin. Signed in the summer of 1997, David Hopkin was a key part of Leeds hopes and plans for the future under George Graham. Hopkin did not figured as strongly as he would have hoped in 97-98 season, missing a couple of games through illness and suspension and being subbed before the end quite a bit. In 98-99, he became a regular in the starting line-up, but there was still stiff competition for places and continued speculation about signings. Under David O'Leary, he was in and out of the midfield at the start of the 1999-2000 season before an operation which kept him out for nearly two months. After struggling to force his way back into the team following injury he got a move away from Elland Road signing for Bradford for the start of the 2000/01 season.

This shirt was from the semi-final clash against Galatasaray at Elland Road. Unfortunately the game was overshadowed by the deaths of Leeds fans Christopher Loftus and Kevin Speight who were brutally killed prior to the first leg fixture in Istanbul. The shirt still includes the black tape on the sleeves worn by all players to show their respect. In addition the shirt is spelt incorrectly and has 'Hopkins' on the back as opposed to 'Hopkin'. David was an unused sub for the game and therefore was worn on the bench only. The shirt was acquired from former Leeds physio Alan Sutton.

Leeds United 1999-00 Match Worn Shirt

(worn by Haaland during the UEFA cup semi-final run!)

Player: Alfie Haaland. A versatile player who could also do a decent job in the centre of defence, Norwegian international Haaland was signed by George Graham from Nottingham Forest for £1.6 million in July 1997. Although never a regular in the first team he was nevertheless a supporters’ favourite — not least for geeing them up while he was warming up as a sub. He further endeared himself to the fans when he famously clashed with Man United’s Roy Keane in a match at Elland Road. Haaland was fouled but Keane was seriously injured. His pride was hurt, too, when Haaland accused him of feigning — and so began a vendetta that Keane continued after Haaland had moved on to Man City (for £2.5 million) in 2000. In his 3 seasons at the club, Haaland made 72 appearances scoring 8 goals.

Other Details: Embroidered club badge, embroidered manufacturers logo, embossed sponsor, felt player-size numbers/letters (European specification). Haaland only wore this style of shirt in short sleeves in one game (Quarter Final v Slavia Prague)

Leeds United 1999-00 Match Worn Shirt

(Lee Bowyer v Roma! Uefa Cup semi-finalist)

Player: Lee Bowyer. Lee was signed in the summer of 1996 for a then British record fee for a teenager of £3 million. Bowyer epitomises a true box-to-box midfielder with his incredible work rate, tough tackles and eye for goal. Leeds made a total of 203 appearances (scoring 38 times) in which 46 appearances (11 goals) came in the 99/00 season Even a well-publicised court case did not effect Bowyers' performances and subsequently he was voted Leeds' player of year in 1999 and 2001. He is number 25 in Leeds' 100 greatest players of all time.

Other Details: Embroidered club badge, embroidered manufacturers logo, embossed sponsor, felt player-size numbers/letters (European specification), long sleeves.
